Spotlight on the clamping head: Our best-selling product for automated pallet changing

24.02.2026

BERG has just delivered the 75,000th clamping head, showing the value of our product’s quality and performance.

We developed these systems for pallet clamping in conventional horizontal machining centres and on highly dynamic rotary and swivel tables. They are the central interface between the machine table and pallet.

BERG clamping heads are defined by their exceptional rigidity and excellent repeat accuracy. Thanks to these features, our clamping heads offer high machining quality, excellent process reliability and maximum efficiency during automated pallet changes. In addition, analogue or IO link sensors for optional integration provide reliable real-time monitoring of the clamping position.

We are proud of this milestone – and ready for the next 75,000! Let’s go!
