BERG at the EuroBLECH 2024: Global novelty in the spotlight!

At EuroBLECH in Hanover, we presented a real innovation: the first automatically movable lower tool clamp that is retractable under press floor surface. The clamping system saves space, reduces set-up times and cuts costs – a perfect fit for the trend towards eliminating sliding tables in press lines.

Another highlight: the latest version of the intelligent die clamp “Tool Assist”, which we developed together with the Fraunhofer IWU. Thanks to its digital monitoring functions, the “Tool Assist” increases process reliability during forming. It can also be integrated directly into existing structures and is therefore ideal as a retrofit solution. Following successful tests at Mercedes-Benz, it is now ready for the market.
