High volumes on all channels: Reliable medium transfer with our rotary unions for machine tables

24.02.2023

Machining on highly dynamic turn and swivel tables demands the highest performance from the components used. Our bearing-mounted, multi-channel rotary unions meet these demands. They enable the process-reliable transfer of all machining-relevant medium types to rotary machine components, e. g. for actuating clamping devices, for cleaning, cooling lubrication or contact monitoring. In this way, they ensure stable machining processes, consistent workpiece qualities and high machine availability even at high pressures and in the maximum speed range.

BERG rotary unions are always designed customer and application specific. We not only take into account operating requirements such as temperature, pressure, rotation speed, torque and media composition, we also focus in particular on the available installation space. Thanks to the modular design with a consistent installation diameter, a variable number of channels can be realised in the smallest installation space.

This makes BERG the problem solver for tricky tasks in the high-quality product segment. Contact us – we will meet any challenge!

PSC-Handspannsatz (Typ C …-M)
Rotary union with eight medium channels for hydraulic oil and air as well as central coolant lubricant supply

Your advantages at a glance:

  • application-specific configuration for transmission of all common medium types (hydraulic oil, air, coolant lubricant, vacuum)
  • compact and modular design
  • twist- and temperature-optimised design for longer service lives
  • designed for high speeds with simultaneously high medium volumes and pressures
  • optionally with channels for machine table cooling
  • low-wear seals and sealing elements for strict medium separation
