Stationary Electromechanical Knock Out Cylinders are used for to compress and release spring stacks of Tool Clamping Systems in machining spindles. The integrated local control communicates with the machine control via standardized field bus protocol.

Power operated chucks according to the BERG wedge bar principle have been available from BERG Spanntechnik for more than 30 years. Optimisation of this functional principle permits extremely high clamping forces with maximum open centre capacity and minimum influence of the rotational speed on the clamping force. These advantages have now been transferred to the small construction sizes with a chuck outer diameter < 100mm for applications in highly productive machines.

Combined rotary joints for supplying hydraulic oil, coolant lubricant and compressed air are used in many machine tool applications. These rotary joints are available according to customer specifications for rotational speeds of up to 10,000 rpm, and up to NW8.

The Hydrodock clamping system is used as a clamping system for machine tool interfacing with exchangeable equipment. The effective self-locking feature of the system guarantees high mechanical rigidity of the interface combined with maximum safety. Therefore no permanent pressure is required after the clamping process. Such clamping systems permit an admissible retaining force of up to 500kN after clamping.
